This heavy gel thickens water-based acrylic paints to create powerful, impasto applications, drying completely without light reflection. It offers artists precise control over material thickness, allowing for the realization of both delicate contours and massive, sculptural relief surfaces with long-term durability.

🎨 Creative design possibilities

The medium opens up space for experimental painting techniques where both surface and tactile sense are in focus. By simply mixing it in, dimensional effects can be achieved that physically expand the classic two-dimensionality of the canvas.

  • ✔️ Apply as an isolating base layer or mix homogeneously for graduated depth in individual image zones

🔥 Application

Shake the bottle gently before first use. Dispense the required amount onto the palette and work it into the chosen color. While fresh, the paste can be flexibly modeled, painted over, and contoured. After completing your work, tools should be cleaned immediately with lukewarm water, as the polymerization will otherwise leave a permanent film on the surface of the equipment.

👉 Important: Seal the lid tightly after each use to stop moisture from entering and to maintain the original gel viscosity over long periods.

Shipping Costs

For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.

For order values under CHF 20.–, an additional small-order surcharge of CHF 10.– applies.

For order values of CHF 50.– and above, we deliver your order free of shipping costs within Switzerland.

What are the delivery costs?

Delivery costs:

For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.

For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.

In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

  • We want shipping costs to remain transparent and fair for our customers.

  • 4.90 Swiss francs covers only a portion of the actual shipping and packaging costs – we cover the rest for you.

Why is there a small-order surcharge?

For orders under 20.00 Swiss francs, we charge a small-order fee of 10.00 Swiss francs, which already includes shipping costs.

  • Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs. 

  • This ensures that we can continue to offer a diverse range of products in high quality without having to artificially increase product prices.

  • At the same time, we would like to avoid tiny orders where the shipping and processing costs would be higher than the value of the goods themselves.
How long will it take to receive my order?

The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.

Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?

For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.

We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
