The STAEDTLER Noris 183 HB in an ergonomic triangular design combines traditional writing culture with a modern material base. Thanks to its special non-slip soft surface, the pencil glides securely across paper, allowing for pinpoint line control without putting pressure on the wrist. The HB degree of hardness reliably provides clearly legible writing, clean technical lines, and uniform layers for drawing tasks. The barrel is based on upcycled wood made from fully processed wood chips, originates from sustainably managed PEFC-certified forestry sources, and has been awarded the "Green Product" certification by TÜV Rheinland.

🔥 Workmanship

For longer work sessions, the mechanical stability of the lead guarantees a constant line width for days. The practical 3-pack thus forms an efficient basic supply for school classes, large offices, or intensive drawing workshops, with work interruptions significantly reduced by the optimized lead range. Recommended use with a Noris double-hole sharpener 512 128 or the metal sharpener 510 10 ensures long-lasting sharp cores and gentle handling of the casing.


🛡️ Important: Because the outer grip material is intentionally formulated to be soft and grippy, please use only rotating sharpeners or the aforementioned Noris pencil sharpeners to avoid scratches or chipping on the surface. Be sure to store in a dry place.

Shipping Costs

For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.

For order values under CHF 20.–, an additional small-order surcharge of CHF 10.– applies.

For order values of CHF 50.– and above, we deliver your order free of shipping costs within Switzerland.

What are the delivery costs?

Delivery costs:

For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.

For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.

In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

Why is there a small-order surcharge?

For orders under 20.00 Swiss francs, we charge a small-order fee of 10.00 Swiss francs, which already includes shipping costs.

  • Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs. 

  • This ensures that we can continue to offer a diverse range of products in high quality without having to artificially increase product prices.

  • At the same time, we would like to avoid tiny orders where the shipping and processing costs would be higher than the value of the goods themselves.
How long will it take to receive my order?

The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.

Where do our products come from?

For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.

We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
