The canvas-like surface embossing, combined with special sizing, absorbs colors evenly, minimizes the risk of soaking, and allows for brilliant color coverage. Since the material is acid-free, your compositions will retain their color brilliance over the long term, preventing the base from yellowing quickly.

✨ Product Features

✔️ Format 18 × 24 cm with 10 individual sheets and a weight of 300 g/m²

✔️ 4-side glued surface to prevent unwanted buckling under heavy layers of paint

✔️ Each pad is individually sealed in a protective film to keep it free from moisture and dirt

✔️ FSC-certified, acid-free, and vegan-produced for sustainable, long-lasting art surfaces

🎨 Creative Design Possibilities

This specific surface texture allows for direct work without the need for prior stretching or priming. The rough texture grips oil-based binders perfectly, giving you full control over transparency and opacity. Whether for thin glazing techniques or impasto applications, the material supports both approaches stably and reliably.

✔️ Ideally suited for studio studies, quick composition sketches, and traveling with a pre-prepared surface

🔥 Handling

For more extensive projects, the 4-side glue binding ensures that even larger painted areas remain flat and that individual sheets can be cleanly detached when needed. The robust base layer allows for repeated corrections and scraping, as the hydrophobic impregnation prevents color pigments from penetrating too deeply into the cellulose structure. This significantly accelerates iterative work processes.

👉 Important: The paper is explicitly designed for oil-based paints and varnishes; water-based media such as watercolor or tempera will not adhere sufficiently to the water-repellent surface.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0798/9146/4459/files/fabriano-tela-block-18-x-24-cm-300g-10-blattfabriano-tela-block-3031401.jpg?v=1761317994
