The compact size of 30.5 × 45.5 cm efficiently covers standardized drawing mats, while the high density reliably minimizes warping during intense washes.

✨ Product Features

✔️ 300 gsm heavy mould-made cellulose with a rough finish for strong pigment uptake

✔️ Practical 20-sheet pad in 30.5 × 45.5 cm format, sustainably FSC-certified

🎨 Creative Design Possibilities

The grainy topography of the paper directs the flow of paint: coarse-grained mineral pigments settle into the irregularities to create natural granulation effects, while smooth media like ink or gouache find a firm, slightly matte grip. This supports both controlled detail work and expressive wet-on-wet application.

✔️ Suitable for classic watercolour techniques, fine pen drawings, and hybrid mixed-media layering methods

🔥 Handling

For lengthy work sequences or multiple sessions per motif, the pad impresses with its ability to cleanly separate individual sheets without fiber damage or tearing the remaining stack. Thanks to the stable grammage, time-consuming pre-stretching is usually unnecessary, allowing artists to continue immediately after the first wash.

👉 Important: The untreated, rough material absorbs paint immediately; for maximum stability of results, finished works should be dried completely flat and protected from light before being framed or archived.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0798/9146/4459/files/Fabriano-Watercolour-torchon-Block-30_5-x-45_5-cm-300g-20-Blatt-rau-FSC-Fabriano-8476363.jpg?v=1761141998
https://www.kidis-art.ch/en-ch/products/fabriano-watercolour-torchon-block-30-5-x-45-5-cm-300g-20-blatt-rau-fsc
