This composition ensures an exceptionally soft application that can be gently spread on rough surfaces without rubbing deep into the material. By omitting ingredients containing lead, cadmium, and cobalt, the pastel meets the highest safety standards while offering outstanding lightfastness.

✨ Product features

✔️ Exclusive formula made from the purest kaolin for maximum durability and low-breakage handling

✔️ High pigment content ensures brilliant color saturation without distracting filler particles

🎨 Creative design possibilities

The open stick design allows for compact storage in the paint box, making it easy to flexibly add and swap individual shades. The Rembrandt color numbering system saves time-consuming mixing: pure tones carry the suffix .5, color depths with black content appear as .2 or .3, while increasing white additions are represented consecutively from codes .7 to .12. This allows for differentiated light-to-dark gradations directly from the stick to the paper.

✔️ Ideal for layering highlights and shadows and for lightly blending existing pigment layers on sturdy drawing paper

🔥 Usage

For extensive series or intensive study areas, the uniform powder structure significantly reduces material consumption. Since the pastel sticks do not harden and remain usable at all times thanks to the openstock format, artists benefit from consistent work quality over many months. Easy replacement of missing colors prevents waiting for deliveries.

👉 Important: Always store open pastel sticks horizontally in their original packaging to prevent unwanted dusting. When ordering, always check the exact code suffix (.5 for full tones, higher numbers for white mixtures) to ensure you select the desired level of brightness.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0798/9146/4459/files/Rembrandt-Weiche-Pastell-Openstock-Zitronengelb-_Prim_r_-205.9-Rembrandt-8556273.jpg?v=1761147283
