The selected material consists of 100% cotton with a weight of 300 g/m², which absorbs pigments quickly and reliably prevents sagging under heavy layers of paint. The generous 50 × 100 cm format is ideal for both ambitious studies and finished exhibition pieces.

✨ Product features

✔️ 100% cotton with 300 g/m² for optimized paint absorption and high dimensional stability.

✔️ 4 cm deep sides that can be painted to create a true 3D effect.

🎨 Creative design possibilities

The sides of the frame act as an independent part of the image, allowing artists to deliberately extend compositions beyond the traditional front edge. By continuing the motif onto the sides, there are no unsightly interruptions. This significantly simplifies the presentation, as no additional mats or dark wooden frames are required.

✔️ Complete edge painting for gallery-quality wall mounting without visible borders.

🔥 Quality of construction

For larger projects, the solid frame construction from Talens ensures that the stretched fabric does not warp, even under intense oil or acrylic applications. The included wooden wedges allow for minor adjustments during the drying phase should the hardwood expand slightly. The pre-stretched fabric also saves valuable studio time and ensures a flat painting surface from the very beginning.

👉 Important: Always let your artwork dry completely before hanging the finished canvas so that the weight of the wet paint does not affect the wooden tension settings.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0798/9146/4459/files/Talens-Bespannter-Keilrahmen-3D-Baumwolle-50-x-100-cm-Talens-8511781.jpg?v=1761143934
