The pure cotton fabric absorbs pigments evenly and reduces uncontrolled paint absorption, allowing for the efficient application of opaque layers as well as transparent glazes.

✨ Product features

✔️ 100% cotton with a fine weave structure (21.5 × 19 threads per cm²)

✔️ Natural wood stretcher bars for lasting tension and low susceptibility to swelling

✔️ 20 × 50 cm landscape format, optimal for panoramic compositions and wide-format layouts

🎨 Creative design possibilities

The natural textile surface offers controlled brush resistance for brush-based techniques while reliably supporting solids such as paint pastes or mineral mixtures. Artists can work purposefully with wet-on-wet layering or create sharp edges through precise placement.

✔️ Compatible with oil, acrylic, tempera, and lacquer dispersions, as well as classic priming systems

🔥 Workmanship

The factory-tensioning method eliminates the time-consuming process of aligning and attaching fabric to raw frames. The contoured wooden profile on the front edges allows for color sections to be painted continuously around the edge or extended beyond the canvas stretch. Longer breaks do not affect dimensional stability, as the construction compensates for atmospheric moisture fluctuations.

👉 Important: To secure the integrity of the painting, be sure to apply an isolating primer and, once finished, apply a preservative agent evenly to both sides to prevent one-sided tension and associated cracking.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0798/9146/4459/files/Talens-Bespannter-Keilrahmen-Baumwolle-20-x-50-cm-Talens-8514616.jpg?v=1761144182
