This specific density precisely controls paint absorption and prevents the underlying surface from showing through intensely opaque layers. Since the fabric is pre-stretched at the factory, time-consuming mounting is eliminated. The stable wooden frame guarantees continuous dimensional stability, allowing artists to begin with the first brushstrokes immediately without subsequent correction of warping.

✨ Product features

✔️ Material quality: 100% pure cotton with a surface density of 300 g/m² for optimized paint adhesion

✔️ Construction strength: Robust stretcher frame with pre-fixed tension to prevent sagging and cracking

🎨 Creative design possibilities

The natural fabric structure of the coated cotton canvas is available to painters as a direct drawing and painting surface. The open fiber arrangement allows for both detailed overpainting and broad glazing techniques without unwanted scratches or flaking of the paint film.

✔️ Suitable for direct use with acrylic and oil painting on dimensionally stable surfaces

🔥 Processing

For large image formats, constant pre-tensioning is crucial. This specially designed frame maintains a homogeneous tensile force even over longer drying phases. Artists benefit from being able to work on large-scale compositions without constant monitoring of the fabric tension, which reduces time and material costs for demanding commercial commissions or exhibition projects.

👉 Important: The pre-fabricated canvas is ideal for all common oil and acrylic techniques; avoid extreme mechanical stress on the edges to maintain the long-term stability of the wooden frame.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0798/9146/4459/files/Talens-Bespannter-Keilrahmen-Baumwolle-71-x-120-cm-Talens-8518199.jpg?v=1761144534
