The 360 g/sqm 100% genuine linen is machine-stretched tightly onto the frame, preventing unwanted tearing or wavy warping during the long drying phases of traditional paints. The high-quality surface ensures uniform color adhesion and supports both precise detail work and intensive layering.

✨ Product features

✔️ 100% genuine linen with 360 g/m² density for optimal texture and mechanical resistance

✔️ Dimensions 60 × 90 cm with robust stretcher frame for absolute tension consistency

🎨 Creative design possibilities

The fine weave structure offers a versatile foundation for various painting styles and techniques. Whether transparent glazes, pastose impasto applications, or soft wet-on-wet transitions – the surface reliably absorbs pigments and releases them through the natural fiber appearance. Artists often use this format for large-scale landscape, portrait, or compositional studies where proportional freedom is crucial.

✔️ Ideally compatible with oil paints, acrylic paints, as well as mixed media and classic glazes

🔥 Processing

For extensive series projects or large-format studio work, the pre-stretched canvases eliminate time-consuming manual pulling and fixing. The constant pre-tension ensures that your canvas remains flat even under room temperature fluctuations, precluding cracking in the substrate from the very first brushstroke. Start painting immediately and use the saved time for the purely creative process.

👉 Important: For oil paintings, always use a professional primer (gesso) and observe the recommendations regarding the drying time of the paint used to guarantee a secure long-term bond and protection of the natural linen.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0798/9146/4459/files/Talens-Bespannter-Keilrahmen-Leinen-60-x-90-cm-Talens-8509458.jpg?v=1761143723
