While working, multiple shades of color can be placed side-by-side, allowing contrasts and gradations to be tested live on the palette. This accelerates direct techniques like alla prima or detailed sketch studies, as the transition from opacity to transparency remains immediately controllable.

✔️ Direct mixing of opaque oil and varnish colors

🔥 Processing

The workshop-grade impregnation provides lasting protection for the core wood against penetrating linseed oil and acidic components of conventional painting media. As a result, the palette retains its even smoothness, even when larger areas of paint are moved or recomposed daily. Long-term art projects benefit from this durable surface, as no gradual wear or roughening hinders direct contact with brushes and palette knives.

👉 Important: Remove adhesive paint residue exclusively with suitable solvents or special cleaning brushes to permanently preserve the protective layer of the impregnated wood.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0798/9146/4459/files/Talens-Holzpalette-Oval-16-x-25-cm-Talens-8740592.jpg?v=1761168423
