The 470 gsm fabric, made of 100% natural linen, features a markedly coarse texture that visually emphasizes brushstrokes and provides mechanical support for multi-layered painting techniques. The 10-meter length allows for free cutting of projects, creating specific dimensions, or producing multiple paintings from one supply.

✨ Product Features

✔️ 100% linen with a fabric-specific weight of 470 g/m² for maximum stability

✔️ 2.10 m roll width and 10 m roll length, plus a defined coarse surface (10x texture)

🎨 Creative Design Possibilities

The rough textile texture securely holds oil, acrylic, and alkyd resin paints, with the natural fibers yielding elastically during paint application to prevent cracking in thick impasto layers. Users can cut exactly the required segment length and stretch the material directly onto classic stretcher bars or work on prepared panel bases. The open weave supports various sketching and printing techniques by offering targeted resistance to tools. Especially efficient for series production in the studio or large-format wall compositions.

✔️ Suitable for custom cuts, series production of canvases, and special, non-standard formats

🔥 Processing

For larger projects, the full roll width of 2.10 meters simplifies the execution of wide formats, as no lateral connections or overlaps are necessary. The intrinsic weight of the textile prevents uncontrolled creasing when unrolling and ensures that the sheet pulls tight evenly during stretching. Dispersion primers deposit adhesives homogeneously onto the pore structure, making prepared surfaces ready quickly and guaranteeing consistent absorbency across the entire usable surface.

👉 Important: Always store the remainder of the roll rolled up on a clean, flat surface, protect the natural fibers from direct moisture, and test the tension properties on a small sample strip first.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0798/9146/4459/files/Talens-K_nstlerleinwand-auf-Rollen-L6-Leinen-_grob_-2_10-x-10-m-Talens-8524324.jpg?v=1761145146
https://www.kidis-art.ch/en-ch/products/talens-kunstlerleinwand-auf-rollen-l6-leinen-grob-2-10-x-10-m
