Optimized fiber combination for stable color absorption
The Fabriano Watercolour pad combines a targeted blend of 25% cotton and 75% cellulose with internal and external sizing. This balances warping when used with wet applications, while the rough, cold-pressed surface binds pigments evenly. The 200 g weight securely holds even water-rich glazes without damaging the fiber structure. With 20 sheets in a standard format, the pad remains compact enough for manageable projects or quick studies, yet offers enough repeatability to deepen techniques step by step.

🎨 Creative Design Possibilities
Due to the defined roughness, paint sits on the substrate in a controlled manner, which simplifies blending during wet-on-wet painting while maintaining clear contours. The double-sided sizing ensures that even concentrated paint applications are not absorbed uncontrollably into the paper, but stay exactly where they are placed.

🔥 Handling
The firm glue-binding on all sides ensures a stable surface for longer painting sessions, preventing loose sheets from slipping or creasing. Once a motif is finished, the completed work can be cleanly removed by pulling from the top right corner without breaking off edge fibers. Since the paper is prepared at the factory, there is no need for additional pre-wetting.
👉 Important: Close the pad completely after each work session to prevent the influence of ambient humidity; this allows the specified sizing to maintain its absorbency regulation for the next use.

Most orders are delivered within 2–3 business days. Please note that deviations may occur depending on the shipping provider, delivery region, or high order volumes.
Shipping Costs
For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.
For order values under CHF 20.–, an additional small-order surcharge of CHF 10.– applies.
For order values of CHF 50.– and above, we deliver your order free of shipping costs within Switzerland.

What are the delivery costs?
Delivery costs:
For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.
For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.
In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs.

How long will it take to receive my order?
The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.
Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?
For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.
We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
