This 50ml Vaseline acts as an effective release layer between two-part or multi-part mold halves and reliably prevents unwanted sticking during casting. The oily product can be applied effortlessly to cured mold surfaces, protects the negative mold from damage, and significantly extends its service life. Thanks to the compact, practical tube, dosing is controlled and economical.

🎨 Creative design possibilities

The Vaseline supports the creation of complex negative molds made of silicone, plaster, or synthetic resin without affecting the subsequent coloring of the cast. Simply spread thinly with a brush or cloth, press the mold halves together, and fill with resin, casting plaster, or melted wax. After curing, the parts separate cleanly, ensuring serial production and attention to detail.

For recurring projects or larger quantities, this mold protection specialty impresses with its constant stability under various working conditions. Since the agent does not harden, the contact surfaces remain permanently smooth and do not require tedious cleaning after each cycle. Even application layers prevent air pockets at the joints and ensure that even complex geometries remain undamaged during disassembly.

👉 Important: Apply the Vaseline only to the fully cured mold half before connecting both parts – this guarantees trouble-free separation without surface cracks during every operation.

Shipping Costs

For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.

For order values under CHF 20.–, an additional small-order surcharge of CHF 10.– applies.

For order values of CHF 50.– and above, we deliver your order free of shipping costs within Switzerland.

What are the delivery costs?

Delivery costs:

For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.

For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.

In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

For orders under 20.00 Swiss francs, we charge a small-order fee of 10.00 Swiss francs, which already includes shipping costs.

  • Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs. 

  • This ensures that we can continue to offer a diverse range of products in high quality without having to artificially increase product prices.

  • At the same time, we would like to avoid tiny orders where the shipping and processing costs would be higher than the value of the goods themselves.
How long will it take to receive my order?

The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.

Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?

For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.

We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
