Golden Crackle Paste 237 ml delivers predictable results when it comes to precisely applying natural patina and classic craquelure. As an opaque, viscous modeling layer, it hardens into a brittle film that develops controlled crack patterns as it dries completely. This structure remains permanently stable and can subsequently be worked over seamlessly with acrylic paints, glazes, or clear coat-based sealers without collapsing.

For large-scale projects, this medium impresses with its controllable drying dynamics: thin layers create fine hairline cracks, while thicker areas show deeper, three-dimensional fissures. Ambient temperature and humidity influence the curing speed – mild climate control prevents uncontrolled cracking and ensures uniform patterns. Hardened areas can be tinted or sealed directly.

👉 Important: Protect the work surface from drafts and direct heat sources, as drying too quickly would unnaturally accelerate the cracking process.

Shipping Costs

For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.

For order values under CHF 20.–, an additional small-order surcharge of CHF 10.– applies.

For order values of CHF 50.– and above, we deliver your order free of shipping costs within Switzerland.

What are the delivery costs?

Delivery costs:

For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.

For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.

In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

Why is there a small-order surcharge?

For orders under 20.00 Swiss francs, we charge a small-order fee of 10.00 Swiss francs, which already includes shipping costs.

  • Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs. 

  • This ensures that we can continue to offer a diverse range of products in high quality without having to artificially increase product prices.

  • At the same time, we would like to avoid tiny orders where the shipping and processing costs would be higher than the value of the goods themselves.
How long will it take to receive my order?

The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.

Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?

For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.

We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
