Exceptional hardness and a consistently abrasive effect make this corundum engraving bit a targeted tool for smoothing engraving lines and fine-finishing motif surfaces. The extra-hard mineral removes material gently, deburring sharp edges and smoothing out irregularities evenly. The compact length of 45 millimeters ensures minimal leverage, allowing working pressure to be directed precisely onto the point. This enables the exact rework of even hard-to-reach threads or deep letter indentations without vibration.

🎨 Creative Design Options
This grinding bit works precisely where conventional files are too coarse. Its natural granular surface also allows for the targeted creation of textured pits, for instance, to improve the adhesion of subsequent coatings or ink applications.

In larger production runs, operations benefit from the stable chip removal of the corundum. Because the material wears down homogeneously, the cutting surface remains active for long periods, meaning it does not need to be reground after every second workpiece. The handy size reduces fatigue of the gripping muscles, which significantly increases consistency in results during repetitive precision work.
👉 Important: The bit is intended exclusively for mechanical smoothing and fine-grinding of existing engravings. Avoid applying lateral pressure against flat base surfaces or permanently overloading the tip to prevent uncontrolled breakage of the material.

Shipping Costs
For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.
For order values under CHF 20.–, an additional small-order surcharge of CHF 10.– applies.
For order values of CHF 50.– and above, we deliver your order free of shipping costs within Switzerland.

What are the delivery costs?
Delivery costs:
For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.
For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.
In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs.

How long will it take to receive my order?
The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.
Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?
For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.
We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
