Description
🎨 Amsterdam Expert Series Acrylic Paint – Permanent Lemon Yellow Light (217) | 150 ml
Professional binder for lightfast artwork
This acrylic paint in color number 217 scores with extremely high lightfastness (+++) and a viscosity control specifically tailored to professional needs. The paint is applied either undiluted from the tube or specifically thinned with water and other acrylic mediums. Its pasty structure allows for the creation of sharp brushstrokes as well as dynamic palette knife structures, effortlessly producing beautiful relief surfaces that exhibit a silky matte sheen after drying. The pure acrylic resin binder it contains forms a tough, tear-resistant paint layer that remains elastic even under frequent stress.
✨ Product Features
- ✔️ Artist-quality pigments with maximum lightfastness (+++)
- ✔️ Pure 100% acrylic resin binder for a break-resistant paint film and uniform gloss
- ✔️ Odorless, water-based formula that cures to be completely waterproof and permanent
- ✔️ Semi-opaque consistency for precise paint application and clear contour definition
🎨 Creative Design Possibilities
Its versatile adhesion makes this material a preferred tool for various media. It adheres securely to almost any slightly porous substrate and easily withstands significant physical stress.
- ✔️ Ideal for portrait, landscape, and abstract techniques on canvas, paper, wood, stone, and concrete
- ✔️ Combines extendable darkening with deep palette knife structures within the 70-color family with many single-pigment mixing options
🔥 Processing
For large-scale studies or series of paintings, the stable density offers a clear advantage: it does not run unnoticed and can be painted over or washed out in clean layers. Its direct usability saves time during preparation, while the Dutch triple-roll mill process used in production provides a perfectly dispersed mass. This ensures identical color intensity across all batches and speeds up work, even during long painting sessions.
👉 Important: The designation 217 exclusively identifies this specific shade of yellow. For the medium to achieve its full permanent water resistance, the tube must remain tightly sealed until the paint on the object has completely dried.

What are the delivery costs?
Delivery costs:
For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.
For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.
In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.
👉 Why only 4.90 Swiss francs for delivery?
-
We want shipping costs to remain transparent and fair for our customers.
-
4.90 Swiss francs covers only a portion of the actual shipping and packaging costs – we cover the rest for you.
-
This keeps your shopping experience at Kidis Art straightforward, affordable, and fair.
Why is there a small-order surcharge?
For orders under 20.00 Swiss francs, we charge a small-order fee of 10.00 Swiss francs, which already includes shipping costs.
👉 Why is there a small-order fee?
-
Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs.
-
This ensures that we can continue to offer a diverse range of products in high quality without having to artificially increase product prices.
-
At the same time, we would like to avoid tiny orders where the shipping and processing costs would be higher than the value of the goods themselves.
How long will it take to receive my order?
The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.
Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?
For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.
We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
Kidis Art places the greatest importance on quality, transparency, and safety. That is why we take great care to ensure that all products are traceable – from manufacturing to the ingredients used. This way, you can be sure that you are receiving only high-quality and tested materials for your creative projects.
