Description
Cobra Artist Water-Mixable Oil Paint 150 ml – Lamp Black 702 🖌️⚫
Professional pigments for solvent-free painting
The water-mixable color paste with shade number 702 combines the characteristic binding of linseed oil with a clean, healthy way of working. Supplied in a practical 150 ml tube, the paint impresses with its semi-opaque consistency, which is ideal for the layered construction of compositions. With a lightfastness rating of +++, your work will remain brilliant even after years and its original depth of black will not change due to oxidation or degradation.
✨ Product features
- ✔️ Can be used mixed with water – requires no turpentine or synthetic solvents.
- ✔️ Semi-opaque paste for precise transparency control and clean color transitions.
- ✔️ Lightfastness class +++ for maximum durability of all parts of the painting.
- ✔️ High-quality pigment mass for intensive, pure color strength when applied directly.
🎨 Creative design possibilities
This special formula opens up classic techniques such as wet-on-wet, palette knife application, or washing out without chemical exposure. The material was developed specifically for studios, educational painting courses, and outdoor use. Use it purposefully to create deep contrasts in portrait studies or atmospheric background designs, while the straightforward cleaning keeps the workflow constant.
- ✔️ Modeling shadow drawings and realistic depth effect with a pure black nuance.
🔥 Processing
For extensive study projects or longer painting breaks, take advantage of the familiar wet state of the oil binder, which allows for targeted reworking and detailed solutions without forming a crust. At the same time, the washability with clear water significantly minimizes cleaning effort, which maintains a direct connection to conventional oil systems while mitigating laboratory and hygiene issues. Ideal for continuous series work.
👉 Important: Press the tube cap completely closed after each use to isolate the paste from contact with oxygen and guarantee consistent spreadability over numerous applications.

What are the delivery costs?
Delivery costs:
For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.
For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.
In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.
👉 Why only 4.90 Swiss francs for delivery?
-
We want shipping costs to remain transparent and fair for our customers.
-
4.90 Swiss francs covers only a portion of the actual shipping and packaging costs – we cover the rest for you.
-
This keeps your shopping experience at Kidis Art straightforward, affordable, and fair.
Why is there a small-order surcharge?
For orders under 20.00 Swiss francs, we charge a small-order fee of 10.00 Swiss francs, which already includes shipping costs.
👉 Why is there a small-order fee?
-
Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs.
-
This ensures that we can continue to offer a diverse range of products in high quality without having to artificially increase product prices.
-
At the same time, we would like to avoid tiny orders where the shipping and processing costs would be higher than the value of the goods themselves.
How long will it take to receive my order?
The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.
Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?
For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.
We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
Kidis Art places the greatest importance on quality, transparency, and safety. That is why we take great care to ensure that all products are traceable – from manufacturing to the ingredients used. This way, you can be sure that you are receiving only high-quality and tested materials for your creative projects.
