Cobra Glazing Medium 092 optimizes your work with oil paints as a specialized additive. Supplied in a practical 250 ml bottle, it gives your paint a significantly smoother consistency and extends the open working time. As the additive is completely transparent, it does not alter the pigment effect, nor does it distort saturation or tonal value. Instead, it levels out irregularities in brushwork and promotes even, streak-free results.

🔥 Processing

For more extensive canvas work, the painting medium reduces tension in the paint film and minimizes the risk of uneven absorbency from primed underpaintings. Thanks to the stabilized wetting structure, even large areas can be brushed out without visible brush marks, while the slightly faster drying phase allows for earlier continuation of work without annoying tackiness.

👉 Important: The product has been chemically formulated specifically for Cobra oil paints. A quick trial mix on a test surface will help you precisely calibrate the volume ratio for your personal brush technique.

Shipping Costs

For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.

For order values under CHF 20.–, an additional small-order surcharge of CHF 10.– applies.

For order values of CHF 50.– and above, we deliver your order free of shipping costs within Switzerland.

What are the delivery costs?

Delivery costs:

For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.

For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.

In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

For orders under 20.00 Swiss francs, we charge a small-order fee of 10.00 Swiss francs, which already includes shipping costs.

  • Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs. 

  • This ensures that we can continue to offer a diverse range of products in high quality without having to artificially increase product prices.

  • At the same time, we would like to avoid tiny orders where the shipping and processing costs would be higher than the value of the goods themselves.
How long will it take to receive my order?

The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.

Where do our products come from?

For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.

We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
