Thanks to its handmade production from 100% pure cotton, Fabriano Artistico paper absorbs pigments evenly and prevents unsightly lime deposits or yellowing over time. The 300 gsm thickness ensures that even intensive wet-on-wet techniques and multiple layers can be applied without buckling or bleeding through. In the handy 12.5 x 18 cm format, the sheets are easy to transport and are perfect for sketch studies, miniature postcards, or quick compositional practice on the go.

🎨 Creative Design Possibilities
The slightly rough texture of the cold press surface gently guides the flow of water-based media and allows for precise brushstrokes as well as soft gradients. Ideal for traditional watercolor techniques such as glazing, smoothing, or salt sprays, but also successful when drawing with waterproof pens before washing. Since the sheet is also highly color-fast, it gives painted motifs a natural depth without refracting light.

🔥 Handling
For larger compositions, it is recommended to lightly moisten the sheets first and then tape them down to a clean surface to minimize wavy swelling during the creative process. The detachable back of the pad facilitates a seamless transition between multiple studies. Once dry, the images are dimensionally stable and can be framed or scanned directly, as the color is embedded deep within the fibers rather than sitting on the surface.
👉 Important: Before initial use, always test a small sample to optimally adjust to the moisture behavior and color gamut of your specific pigments on the cotton material.

Orders are generally processed and prepared for shipping within one business day. As soon as your order has left our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email. If available, this will also include tracking information.

Most orders are delivered within 2–3 business days. Please note that deviations may occur depending on the shipping provider, delivery region, or high order volumes.
Shipping Costs
For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.
For order values under CHF 20.–, an additional small-order surcharge of CHF 10.– applies.
For order values of CHF 50.– and above, we deliver your order free of shipping costs within Switzerland.

What are the delivery costs?
Delivery costs:
For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.
For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.
In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs.

How long will it take to receive my order?
The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.
Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?
For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.
We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
