Golden OPEN Carbon Black acrylic paint provides a highly concentrated black variant specifically tailored for precise painting methods and detailed color application. The modified binder complex significantly delays water evaporation, allowing brushstrokes and dabs of color to remain wet for much longer. This makes it possible to create even the smallest transitions without hard edges and to position multi-stage shading precisely. The strong pigmentation guarantees high opacity from the first coat, while the paint’s smooth consistency allows it to be blended effortlessly with related OPEN tones. Due to its slow cross-linking, this acrylic medium is optimized for techniques that require longer wet-on-wet work. It levels out optimally on prepared canvases, heavy painting cardboard, and primed wood panels without unnecessarily swelling the fibers. The formula behaves predictably when applied, washed, or dabbed and retains its plasticity over long work sessions.

🔥 Processing

For larger murals or extensive illustrations, the extended open time significantly reduces time pressure. Already modeled passages can still be smoothed out at an advanced stage without having to roughen or abrade the top layer. This prevents unwanted stepping between freshly applied and partially dried areas and maintains a homogeneous visual flow.

👉 Important: Keep the tube tightly closed and stored horizontally after each use so that the water-based gel does not dry out. Before reopening, mix the paste thoroughly so that any pigments accumulated at the bottom are distributed homogeneously.

What are the delivery costs?

Delivery costs:

For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.

For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.

In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

For orders under 20.00 Swiss francs, we charge a small-order fee of 10.00 Swiss francs, which already includes shipping costs.

  • Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs. 

  • This ensures that we can continue to offer a diverse range of products in high quality without having to artificially increase product prices.

  • At the same time, we would like to avoid tiny orders where the shipping and processing costs would be higher than the value of the goods themselves.
How long will it take to receive my order?

The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.

For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.

We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
