Golden Pumice Gel Fine features a specially refined pumice mixture, making it ideal as a primer for dry and oil pastels. The exceptionally small particles form an even, velvety layer that optimally binds color pigments while ensuring a long-lasting, stable painting surface. The practical 237 ml volume reliably covers both detailed studio sessions and larger project phases.

🎨 Creative design possibilities

As a professional primer, the medium opens up a variety of pastel techniques. It applies directly to canvas, wooden panels, or textured drawing pads, effortlessly capturing everything from the finest strokes to bold, multi-layered applications. The slightly rough grip prevents the unwanted slipping of pigmented sticks, while the matte finish reduces unwanted glare and makes the color range appear more natural.

🔥 Application

For extensive image designs or multi-layered pastel works, your process will benefit from its fast, level curing. Single applications are sufficient to seal large areas, as the gel spreads effortlessly with flat bristle brushes or palette knives without leaving dry edges. The even consistency effectively prevents subsequent dusting when layering pastels intensively, saving valuable prep time in both the studio and on the go.

👉 Important: Always allow it to dry completely before applying pastels, and do not smooth the final structure afterward to ensure optimal color adhesion.

Most orders are delivered within 2–3 business days. Please note that deviations may occur depending on the shipping provider, delivery region, or high order volumes.

Shipping Costs

For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.

For order values under CHF 20.–, an additional small-order surcharge of CHF 10.– applies.

For order values of CHF 50.– and above, we deliver your order free of shipping costs within Switzerland.

What are the delivery costs?

Delivery costs:

For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.

For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.

In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

Why is there a small-order surcharge?

For orders under 20.00 Swiss francs, we charge a small-order fee of 10.00 Swiss francs, which already includes shipping costs.

  • Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs. 

  • This ensures that we can continue to offer a diverse range of products in high quality without having to artificially increase product prices.

  • At the same time, we would like to avoid tiny orders where the shipping and processing costs would be higher than the value of the goods themselves.
How long will it take to receive my order?

The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.

Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?

For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.

We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
