The finger-jointed construction made from FSC-certified pine wood guarantees a stable base for 24×30 cm canvases. The material weight of 330 g/m² combines low mass with high dimensional stability, reliably preventing warping or sagging during stretching and subsequent layer application.

🎨 Creative design possibilities
The firm surface is easy to work with using acrylic paints, oil colors, or pigmented gesso primers. The smooth edges allow for classic wrapping of the canvas behind the frame or intentionally leaving the front edge of the wood exposed for a minimalist gallery look. For watercolor techniques on fabric-based canvas, the pre-tensioned fit ensures even wetting without any visually perceptible rippling.

🔥 Processing
Thanks to the finger jointing, mechanical tensile forces are distributed evenly across the corner joints, making the use of additional stabilization elements obsolete for larger compositions within the available format. Even with multi-layered painting techniques or extensive glazes, the stretcher bar maintains its right-angled dimensions. Traditional expansion keys can be retrofitted if later re-tensioning of the canvas is required.
👉 Important: The stretcher bar is delivered without canvas; you only need a suitable piece of canvas or cotton fabric cut to 24×30 cm for self-stretching.

Most orders are delivered within 2–3 business days. Please note that deviations may occur depending on the shipping provider, delivery region, or high order volumes.
Shipping Costs
For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.
For order values under CHF 20.–, an additional small-order surcharge of CHF 10.– applies.
For order values of CHF 50.– and above, we deliver your order free of shipping costs within Switzerland.

What are the delivery costs?
Delivery costs:
For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.
For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.
In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs.

This ensures that we can continue to offer a diverse range of products in high quality without having to artificially increase product prices.

At the same time, we would like to avoid tiny orders where the shipping and processing costs would be higher than the value of the goods themselves.
How long will it take to receive my order?
The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.
Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?
For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.
We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
