Since 1899, Rembrandt watercolor in the shade Gamboge 238 has impressed with consistent pigment quality and precise application. The pure gum arabic it contains forms the basis for intense transparency and vibrant color intensity as soon as it is dissolved. Artists benefit from a paste-like consistency that is effortless to spread and ensures stable lightfastness over many years of use.

🎨 Creative design possibilities
The light yellowish-green hue of the Gamboge can be flexibly blended between opaque glazes and translucent washes by gradually adding water. The formulation works uncompromisingly with traditional wet-on-wet techniques while supporting precise line work when using a small amount of solution.

🔥 Processing
For larger painting projects, the rapid wetting of the paper allows for the seamless development of large areas without visible drying lines. The direct dispensing from the tube saves mixing time and ensures that every application has the exact same saturation. Unnecessary waste is avoided, as even the smallest quantities can be measured out precisely.
👉 Important: Shake the tube vigorously before first use to achieve a homogeneous pigment distribution, and clean the screw cap reliably after each use to prevent air from entering.

Shipping Costs
For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.
For order values under CHF 20.–, an additional small-order surcharge of CHF 10.– applies.
For order values of CHF 50.– and above, we deliver your order free of shipping costs within Switzerland.

What are the delivery costs?
Delivery costs:
For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.
For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.
In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs.

This ensures that we can continue to offer a diverse range of products in high quality without having to artificially increase product prices.

At the same time, we would like to avoid tiny orders where the shipping and processing costs would be higher than the value of the goods themselves.
How long will it take to receive my order?
The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.
Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?
For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.
We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
