Description
Rembrandt Oil Paint Naples Yellow Light 222 – Brilliant light yellow for professional works 🎨🖌️
High-quality oil paint with excellent opacity and lightfastness
Rembrandt Oil Paint Naples Yellow Light 222 impresses with a high pigment concentration and a uniform, smooth consistency that is ideal for intensive color gradations and transparent glazes. As a lightfast coloring agent, it ensures lasting, brilliant results on canvas, wood, or primed surfaces. The strong, yet slightly opaque yellow allows for precise accentuation in still life, landscape, and portrait painting as well as in abstract compositions. The expert formulation is based on decades of artistic experience and guarantees a pasty-elastic structure that supports clean mixing without unwanted settling.
✨ Product features
- ✔️ Color: Naples Yellow Light (reference 222) with excellent lightfastness
- ✔️ Volume: 150 ml tube for longer work sessions without frequent repurchasing
- ✔️ Texture: Uniform viscosity and smooth application properties
- ✔️ Durability: Remains intense and weather-resistant even after complete drying
🎨 Creative design possibilities
The characteristic Naples Yellow Light serves as a versatile base tone or a harmonious counterpoint to cooler blue and violet tones. In thicker layers, it unfolds its full luminosity, while when thinned with oil media, it allows for elegant shading for faces, skin areas, and warm light reflections.
- ✔️ Realistic rendering of sunlight, golden foliage, and atmospheric background gradients
🔥 Processing
Thanks to the generous 150 ml volume, the tube size remains efficiently usable even for extensive studio projects and large-format easel works. The controlled consistency can be spread cleanly over larger areas and minimizes the risk of clumping during repeated reworking. Artists benefit from a predictable drying phase, which reliably enables step-by-step construction and smooth transitions between individual color layers.
👉 Important: For clear identification and ordering, please use the color number 222 as well as the product ID 8712079518455. Always keep the tube tightly closed and stored in a cool place after use to protect the lightfast pigments long-term.

What are the delivery costs?
Delivery costs:
For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.
For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.
In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.
👉 Why only 4.90 Swiss francs for delivery?
-
We want shipping costs to remain transparent and fair for our customers.
-
4.90 Swiss francs covers only a portion of the actual shipping and packaging costs – we cover the rest for you.
-
This keeps your shopping experience at Kidis Art straightforward, affordable, and fair.
Why is there a small-order surcharge?
For orders under 20.00 Swiss francs, we charge a small-order fee of 10.00 Swiss francs, which already includes shipping costs.
👉 Why is there a small-order fee?
-
Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs.
-
This ensures that we can continue to offer a diverse range of products in high quality without having to artificially increase product prices.
-
At the same time, we would like to avoid tiny orders where the shipping and processing costs would be higher than the value of the goods themselves.
How long will it take to receive my order?
The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.
Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?
For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.
We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
Kidis Art places the greatest importance on quality, transparency, and safety. That is why we take great care to ensure that all products are traceable – from manufacturing to the ingredients used. This way, you can be sure that you are receiving only high-quality and tested materials for your creative projects.
