The Rembrandt soft pastel light orange 236.5, as a pure full pigment, delivers exceptionally high color release with optimized adhesion on almost any drawing surface. Thanks to its pure kaolin-based binder and a unique formula featuring concentrated premium pigments, the orange unfolds its full vibrancy directly from the stick. This specific shade is highly lightfast, contains no metallic components such as lead, cadmium, or cobalt, and thus offers a safe, long-lasting foundation for large-scale murals or detailed sketches.

Due to its precise composition, light orange 236.5 is excellent for setting intentional warm accents, naturally emphasizing organic shapes, or serving as a stable primer for more complex color revisions. The open color register allows you to work specifically with pre-mixed intermediate shades without having to laboriously mix dark and light nuances by hand.

For extensive projects or intensive multi-layer builds, this soft pastel formula fully utilizes its physical advantages: the pastel applies smoothly and opaquely, adheres in a controlled manner, and does not penetrate unnecessarily into porous fibers. This facilitates precise scraping, efficient blending directly on the paper, and gradual modeling of shadows and light without previous pigment layers becoming discolored or muddy.

👉 Important: When selecting from the range, refer to the last digit of the item number, as it defines the exact mixing state: where there is a .5, the unmixed primary pigment is present, while increasing values up to .12 indicate a systematic white content.

For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.

What are the delivery costs?

Delivery costs:

For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.

For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.

In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

Why is there a small-order surcharge?

For orders under 20.00 Swiss francs, we charge a small-order fee of 10.00 Swiss francs, which already includes shipping costs.

  • Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs. 

  • This ensures that we can continue to offer a diverse range of products in high quality without having to artificially increase product prices.

  • At the same time, we would like to avoid tiny orders where the shipping and processing costs would be higher than the value of the goods themselves.
How long will it take to receive my order?

The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.

Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?

For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.

We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
