The Rembrandt soft pastel in Carmine 318.5 combines decades of experience in Dutch pigment production with a unique formula. As part of the world's most widely used pastel range, this color is based on pure kaolin and an extremely high concentration of high-quality red pigments. The result is a vivid, pure tint with outstanding color release that can be effortlessly applied to rough drawing paper or pre-treated surfaces. The specific code "318.5" uniquely identifies the stick according to the manufacturer's scheme and indicates whether and to what extent a color has been thinned, so you do not need to manually mix light or dark gradations.

When working on extensive compositions, you benefit from the pastel's quick adhesion to fibrous surfaces. The factory-sealed open stock condition protects the delicate surface, so you can use the stick immediately upon opening. Large formats can be laid out efficiently in even color strokes, while the firmly defined tone composition code saves time.
👉 Important: Fix finished works after they have dried completely with a suitable pastel fixative to permanently prevent unwanted smudging or abrasion of the loose pigment layer.

Shipping Costs
For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.
For order values under CHF 20.–, an additional small-order surcharge of CHF 10.– applies.
For order values of CHF 50.– and above, we deliver your order free of shipping costs within Switzerland.

What are the delivery costs?
Delivery costs:
For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.
For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.
In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs.

How long will it take to receive my order?
The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.
Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?
For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.
We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
