The Rembrandt soft pastel in Phthalo Blue combines a particularly high pigment concentration with a pure kaolin base. The “.5” marking in the color code confirms that this is an unmixed full tone, designed specifically for bold base structures and sharp compositional axes. Through rigorous batch testing and Dutch manufacturing, every individual stick guarantees exceptional color release as well as one of the highest ratings for lightfastness. Since lead, cadmium, and cobalt compounds are explicitly avoided, you work with maximum color saturation while ensuring safe handling.

🔥 Application

Phthalo Blue adheres optimally to textured drawing paper and can be effortlessly layered or washed. Larger images benefit from the stable pastel consistency, which produces even surfaces without grainy gaps. The broad range of 218 shades in total, including 44 full tones, 56 black mixtures, and 118 white gradations, ensures that complex subjects can be executed systematically and time-efficiently.

👉 Important: Different brightness levels are available via the codes “.2” and “.3” (black additives) or “.7” through “.12” (increasing white content). The extra softness of certain variants such as Super Soft (code 101.5) is specifically recommended for applying bright accents in the final stages of your work.

Shipping Costs

For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.

What are the delivery costs?

Delivery costs:

For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.

For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.

In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

For orders under 20.00 Swiss francs, we charge a small-order fee of 10.00 Swiss francs, which already includes shipping costs.

  • Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs. 

  • This ensures that we can continue to offer a diverse range of products in high quality without having to artificially increase product prices.

  • At the same time, we would like to avoid tiny orders where the shipping and processing costs would be higher than the value of the goods themselves.
How long will it take to receive my order?

The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.

Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?

For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.

We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
