Prepared mid-tone for precise color management

The Rembrandt soft pastel in the shade Vermilion Green Light carries the identifier 626.3 and, as a prepared mid-tone, provides an optimized balance between the pure tone and a specific black gradation. Through the use of the purest kaolin as a binding base and a high concentration of high-quality pigments, an intense, slightly muted green with outstanding lightfastness unfolds. The material applies buttery smooth onto the support, does not smear during blending, and enables controlled opacity without the hassle of pre-blending dark shades.

🔥 Processing

The open-stock format gives you full control over consumption, as individual sticks can be selected as needed from the extensive palette of 218 shades. The extra-soft paste adheres reliably to textured pastel paper or primed canvas without completely sealing the porous surface. This ensures an easily reworkable surface even in large-format compositions and guarantees identical drying and binder values throughout the entire work process.

👉 Important: Always store the open stick in its sealable original container to minimize the natural dusting process and permanently preserve the spreadable matte finish for subsequent gradients.

For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.

What are the delivery costs?

Delivery costs:

For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.

For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.

In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

For orders under 20.00 Swiss francs, we charge a small-order fee of 10.00 Swiss francs, which already includes shipping costs.

  • Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs. 

  • This ensures that we can continue to offer a diverse range of products in high quality without having to artificially increase product prices.

  • At the same time, we would like to avoid tiny orders where the shipping and processing costs would be higher than the value of the goods themselves.
How long will it take to receive my order?

The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.

Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?

For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.

We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
