The Staedtler 3001 combines the control of a ballpoint pen with the expressiveness of a real artist's brush. The lavender shade provides a clear, pastel-like hue that is excellent for accentuating, structuring, and light blending. Thanks to the water-soluble formula, sharply defined lines can be gently washed out with a few drops of water, creating soft transitions and watercolor-like moods without the paper tearing or wrinkling easily. A reliable choice for sketchnoting, book design, and textile or paper templates where precise coloring is required.

🎨 Creative design possibilities
The asymmetrical double tip allows for direct switching between technical drawing and free-hand painting without needing to change tools. First, set sharp grids or lettering with the slim side, then turn the marker around and blend the color areas slightly wet-on-wet. The ink is initially smudge-proof and only dissolves in a controlled manner upon request, which discourages corrective work and instead encourages intentional planning.

🔥 Usage
For more extensive series or large areas, an absorbent medium like uncoated watercolor or filter paper is recommended, as the dilution proceeds more stably there and no unwanted ink accumulation occurs. Multi-layer application darkens the lavender note continuously without automatically staining other areas. After finishing work, always store in a dry place so that the fibers retain their shape memory and do not leave scratch marks on subsequent drafts.
👉 Important: Keep the marker closed after each use and ideally store it horizontally so that the ink is distributed evenly and the brush tip does not dry out.

Shipping Costs
For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.
For order values under CHF 20.–, an additional small-order surcharge of CHF 10.– applies.
For order values of CHF 50.– and above, we deliver your order free of shipping costs within Switzerland.

What are the delivery costs?
Delivery costs:
For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.
For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.
In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs.

How long will it take to receive my order?
The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.

Where do our products come from?
For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.
We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
