Stable canvas base for oil and acrylic
This stretched canvas combines a dimensionally stable wooden frame with a 100% cotton surface in a 30 x 50 cm format. The applied universal primer ensures that the canvas is ready for use with oil and acrylic paints straight out of the packaging. The mechanical fastening to the wooden frame keeps the tension constant over long working periods, allowing paint application, layer thickness, and fine contours to be rendered precisely without losing elasticity later on.

🎨 Creative design possibilities
The medium-weave texture of the cotton provides optimal grip for both aqueous and oil-based media. It supports transparent glazing techniques as well as the application of highly pigmented impasto effects. The standard format is ideal for studio exercises, quick color compositions, portrait studies, or plein air painting, as it remains light enough for mobile easels and stable enough for repeated work.

🔥 Workmanship
For multi-layered projects or series work, the solid framing offers an advantage over loose canvases: no shifting of the fabric structure under heavier layers of paint, no distortion due to changes in humidity. The pre-applied gesso significantly reduces preparation time, so you can start with the underpainting immediately. If necessary, the corner joints of the stretcher frame can be carefully adjusted during the drying process to control tension.
👉 Important: Always store the stretched canvas flat or upright in a dry place, handle the edges carefully during transport, and ensure the paint layers are completely dry before any potential varnishing or framing.

Orders are generally processed and prepared for shipping within one business day. As soon as your order has left our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email. If available, this will also include tracking information.
Estimated Delivery Time
Most orders are delivered within 2–3 business days. Please note that deviations may occur depending on the shipping provider, delivery region, or high order volumes.
Shipping Costs
For orders under CHF 50.–, we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 5.20.
For order values under CHF 20.–, an additional small-order surcharge of CHF 10.– applies.
For order values of CHF 50.– and above, we deliver your order free of shipping costs within Switzerland.

What are the delivery costs?
Delivery costs:
For packages with a value of up to 50.00 Swiss francs, a delivery fee of 4.90 Swiss francs applies.
For orders over 50.00 Swiss francs, delivery is free of charge for customers.
In June 2025, we adjusted the delivery costs from 7.90 Swiss francs to 4.90 Swiss francs.

Every order incurs fixed costs (packaging, processing, payment systems). In order to cover these fairly while still offering our products at low prices, a small-order fee is necessary for orders under 20.00 Swiss francs.

This ensures that we can continue to offer a diverse range of products in high quality without having to artificially increase product prices.

At the same time, we would like to avoid tiny orders where the shipping and processing costs would be higher than the value of the goods themselves.
How long will it take to receive my order?
The processing time for your order is generally 2–5 business days, including shipping time. During peak season (e.g., before holidays or during special promotions), it may occasionally take 1–2 days longer.
Kidis Art always strives to process and deliver your goods as quickly as possible so that you receive your order without a long wait.
Where do our products come from?
For paints and art supplies, our products come exclusively from Holland, where the highest quality standards and precision in manufacturing are a matter of course.
We source our craft materials primarily from Germany and France, and occasionally from China when special materials or designs are produced there that enrich our range.
